^ Good call on the victory. I didn't expect such effectiveness from Heyliger and Akhil Kumar. Nice to see Dhaliwal making a key contribution at this level after being Canada's top scorer in the Challenge League. Good bounce back from the captain after a poor showing last series.

Things were bleak with Napal stifling Canada's batting through most of the innings. Coming through that is exactly what they need to build on.

I’ve watched the highlights. Johnson will probably get written up for dissent but he did not agree with the out decision against him. I would tend to believe him. Probably a poor decision that didn’t go his way.
Dreadful runout of Thaker but it happens.
Heyliger came in at no. 7! He can smash a few.
I’d have been very worried at 149/5 after 40!
Kirton went from 26/30 to 73/44!

Canada takes the first encounter with Oman. They now have a chance make this series a big point boost for themselves while further setting back Nepal and Oman. Thankfully, Thaker was well in the runs this time. Good contributions from Kirton and Heyliger but still waiting for Johnson and Movva to make their marks. Despite the good total Canada posted, you feel they could still do better if the latter two are more involved.

I just noticed that Aaron Johnson bowled against Oman. 14 off four overs no wickets. Not bad but he has to contribute something since he's not scoring any runs! Also, for today's game against Nepal Kirton batted sixth when he's batted fifth in the previous games. He's having a good series.
