More competition for Major League Cricket as well, which is struggling as it is.
Will players prefer this gig rather than anything in North America?
Global T20 Canada 2020
Re: Global T20 Canada 2020
Oh, oh!
CC has terminated the agreement with Bombay Sports (due to a breach of contract). Is this the end of the GT20 ? No mention of the tournament is made in the announcement but that in itself does not give confidence in its further playing. Would be very bad news for the Canadian cricketers as well as many overseas Associate players.

As GT20 dies MLC mulls Toronto as a location for an expansion franchise. They were likely considering Toronto even before Cricket Canada severed ties with Bombay Sports.

The apparent GT20 Canada replacement: https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/canada ... 29036.html
The longevity of this venture is anybody's guess but at least there will be another season of pro cricket for fans and players.

The T10 pro tourneys that have been played in Lauderhill and Dallas
were total busts.

I really like the idea of a women’s T10. Only two teams to start though.
