I see our canadacricket.com administrator is not running again. Thank you for your service, sir!
Nice to see some women standing for election. Also good to have the provincial reports made public. Things are slowly moving in the right direction.

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
I am indeed not running again. There are a number of reasons, but the main one is that I'm involved in many areas as a volunteer, and there are only so many hours in the day; hence something had to go. From a personal viewpoint I looked at where I can make most impact, and the type of work that gives me most satisfaction - I felt the CC position was the one that I needed to drop...
It was an interesting experience on the board, and one I may write about at some time in the future...

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
Thanks for the AGM summary! http://www.canadacricket.com/?p=11412
However, this information should be coming from the official website.

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
Should be coming from CC????? That would assume competency and transparency,
two things in VERY short supply in North American cricket. Looked at the
regional reports and only the Newfoundland one had any real substance. All
the rest were pretty much just team photos and wish lists.

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
^ It also assumes someone at Cricket Canada thinks this information should be made public AND that CC believe their members care about what goes on at the AGM. Regardless of what Canadian cricketers think of their national body, it is quite sad to think Cricket Canada actually believe the AGM matters to no one.
For comparison, I'm sure the results of the first AGM under the new USA Cricket administration will be made public. After all the time and effort expended by the ICC, it is in their interest to profess that all American cricketers care about decisions made at the highest level.

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
2020 AGM for the year ending December 2019:
The thirty day period of advanced notice for the AGM would appear to have passed without any word of the AGM, notice of a Special General Meeting or any information at all, really. Are CC following their own constitution ? Do the provincial boards have anything to say about this ? Well probably not Ontario, BC and the current leadership in Alberta. One wonders what impact the Alberta governance dispute is having on decisions made (or not made) by the CC board.

Re: Cricket Canada AGM
CC surprisingly announce their 2019 AGM for June 27-28:
https://cricketcanada.org/news-single?nid=118
Apparently they will make an effort to live-stream the open sessions, since the meeting is going to be on-line anyway.
The announcement comes a bit late by a few days as far as we understand. So why not just announce it on time in late May?
